Giving a hearty and healthy response to International Yoga Day by enriching all with good mental and physical health, St. Teresa Convent School, Panchkula has always been in the forefront to ensure the best for the students. To stay healthy and be strong to face the tough times, it is even more important to build up our immunity, within the four walls of our house. In the pursuit of the same, School celebrated International Yoga Day with much fervour and enthusiasm. This time, though it was a virtual celebration, it was nevertheless exciting because of its novelty. Never before have students celebrated school event from their homes! Students displayed their creative side by selecting various asanas followed by Omkar Chanting. The boundless peace of doing the asanas was amply visible right from the faces of the students. Students from various classes shared their photos and videos. On this occasion, Principal, Ms. Shelley Chugh shared the importance and need of practising yoga to stay fit and healthy. She added that the celebration of International Yoga Day was a reminder to incorporate yoga in every day routine to enjoy a happy life and reduce the effects of stress and other physical ailments.
