“International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking”

To mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, St. Teresa Convent School, Panchkula observed this day with the aim to create awareness among the students about issues related to drugs and strengthening action and cooperation in order to make the world free of drug abuse.Class Teachers from VI to XII, conducted an online session wherein various activities were conducted to create awareness and instil a sense of responsibility among students. Though it was an orientation of an hour’s duration it seemed to be too short for the vast amount of information teachers shared with students. In the end, a quick question/ answer session held through which students cleared all their doubts.Students took a pledge to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse. This session in every way made us realize all the ruinous effects of drug and has certainly portrayed this addiction as the easiest way for self-destruction.
